Great Basin Brewing Company To Package One Millionth Bottle Of Beer From New Bottling Line

RENO, Nev. (Feb. 5, 2014) – When Great Basin Brewing Company installed a high-speed bottling line in April of last year, it was anticipated that craft beer enthusiasts would be eager to enjoy the award-winning brews they’ve been brewing since 1993. However, the incredible demand they’ve experienced has far exceeded their expectations.

Thursday, the company will package its 1 millionth bottle of beer from the new brewing line in just under a year. “Brewing and shipping 1 million bottles in under a year is an incredible milestone,” owner and brewmaster Tom Young said. “I’m thrilled to see Great Basin beers embraced by so many craft beer drinkers from all across Nevada and the Sierra.”

Keeping up with the demand for Great Basin’s beer is a challenge that Young is looking forward to meeting head on with plans to expand production and distribution even further into California in 2014. “This is just the beginning,” Young said. “We’re working hard to get even more of our brews to craft beer lovers across the region and further into California this year.”
