Bitchin' Berry Back In Bottles

RENO, Nev. (May 14, 2014) – Great Basin Brewing Company welcomes the warm weather into Northern Nevada and California with a fresh batch of award-winning Bitchin’ Berry Ale, brewed using 100% real berries. Available as a limited seasonal release, Bitchin’ Berry most recently won a silver medal for Fruit Wheat Beers at the 2013 Great American Beer Festival®.

Brewed with berries picked at the peak of ripeness, this is perfect beer for fresh drinking. “Bitchin’ Berry is really special because we use all real berries during the brewing process. This gives the finished brew a light and fresh taste that you don’t get anywhere else,” said Tom Young, owner of Great Basin Brewing Company. “Some people may think of fruit beer as silly, but we take it pretty serious around here.”

Bitchin’ Berry is now being distributed to liquor stores, restaurants and bars across Nevada and in California as far west as Roseville, south to Mono County and north to the Oregon border.
