Ichthyosaur "Icky" IPA

Long before there was humankind, there was the mighty Ichthyosaur.

Ichthyosaurs, Greek for "fish lizard," were reptiles that had fish and dolphin-like characteristics and ruled the ancient seas at the same time the dinosaurs roamed on land. The fossil specimens found in central Nevada swam some 217 million years ago. They are among the largest ever unearthed, reaching 50 feet in length. Take some Ichthyosaur IPA with you when you visit the fossil display at the Berlin-Ichthyosaur State Park in central Nevada, both natural wonders. Available in 6-Packs.

Wild Horse Amber Ale

A brew in a breed all its own.

Nevada’s high desert plains are home to more wild horses than all other states combined. In fact, early explorers’ journals show wild horses in Northern Nevada as far back as the early 1800s. Today, as they roam free throughout the Piñon pine and sagebrush, these bachelor bands of young stallions have come to embody the spirit of Nevada ~ independent, adventurous, and eager to explore the open range. Take some Wild Horse Ale with you on your next adventure into the high desert and beyond. In 1994, Wild Horse rode away with a Bronze in the Düsseldorf Altbier/German-Style Brown category* of the Great American Beer Festival®. Available in 6-Packs.

* Winning under the name Wild Horse Ale.

Limited Expedition Releases

385 Scytale Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout

An enduring enigma.

Our fourth expedition into the deepest and darkest recesses of craft beer continues with our release of 412 Scytale. After completing its primary fermentation, the Brewmaster sealed unaged Imperial Stout into freshly-emptied bourbon barrels. There, it matured and grew in complexity as the charred oak imbued the pitch black elixir with layer upon layer of decadent features. Wrap your head around each nuance as you uncover aromas of dark stone fruits, spice, and vanilla alongside sweet tastes of bready biscuit, fig, honey, oak, and roasted chocolate until it finishes with notes of caramel on the palate.

Cerveza Chilebeso

Fire Up.

As far as chile pepper beers go - Cerveza Chilebeso is pure gold. Each time we’ve entered this beer into the Great American Beer Festival®(1994, 1997, and 1999) we took home a gold medal in the Herb & Spice Beer category.* That's when we thought it was only fair to retire it from competition – but not from the brew schedule, of course. The crisp and clean malt profile followed by a satisfying beso (kiss) of fresh Jalapeño peppers lives on. Spice up your life a bit and enjoy this distinguished craft beer from Nevada's oldest and most award-winning brewery.

Mayan Maybe Not

For Come What May.

On December 21, 2012, the Mayan calendar ended and impending visions of the Apocalypse were spoken of in hushed, uncertain voices around the globe.

First brewed to honor the Mayans, as well as our last earthly moments, this beer marries ingredients the Mayans cultivated – chocolate, jalapeño and habanero chiles, vanilla, honey and maize. The result is a dark, bittersweet, spicy, and smoky sip that allows you to meet any recurrent prediction of apocalypse with measure and resolve.

Available December 2016

White Eye PA Belgian Style India Pale Ale

A Fresh Perspective.

What was once a witbier, has been reimagined as a Belgian style White IPA. We've left behind the traditional spices, and in their place, created a stunning vision of Simcoe, Citra, El Dorado and Centennial hops. The result is an unfiltered, straw colored brew with bright notes of citrus and pine that help get your head out of the clouds and into the light. Available in 22oz. bottles for a limited time.
